Who Are We?
Meri Shrushti as a concept offering is the brainchild of the company’s Founder Jaya Jain. Envisioned somewhere in 2003-04 in the humble confines of a Hindu Jain family, this concept has gone through about 12 years of dedicated research and development, before taking shape as “Meri Shrushti” the company.
It all began when Jaya Jain stumbled upon a few facts of the modern cosmetics industry when she read the ingredients list on a bottle of Shampoo! These products were neither natural nor were they easy on the human body. Coming from a traditional Jain background with a lifelong of imbibing Jain Teachings in all walks of life, she was shocked to see that “almost all” the ingredients mentioned were nothing but synthetic chemical formulations. Although the product label claimed to have natural ingredients, all it had was flavours and chemical extracts! What was worse is the fact that these products were almost always tested on innocent animals in the lab process; and some products also contained small quantities of animal extracts. She was aghast; and decided to do something about this in the interest of the general public.
So, she consulted a few industry professionals and began travelling across India to identify the source of various natural herbs that could be used to make 100% natural herbal cosmetics. Initially, Jaya Jain made natural herbal cosmetics purely for consumption by the self. But when the results of her products started showing on her hair and skin, she began getting enquiries from near and dear ones and friends alike. When she narrated these turns of events to her spiritual guru, he blessed her and advised her to take up the good work on a larger scale such that it benefits a larger community of people, both within in and around their place of residence and across the country. And that was where the seed for Meri Shrushti was sown.
So, Mrs. Jaya Jain, armed with a determination to make a positive change in the society and her Jain Dharma Guru’s blessings, formed the company “Meri Shrushti Nature LLP” Meri Shrushti in common parlance means “My Universe”. Like wisely, the Brand Promise is to deliver the goodness of all possible natural medicinal herbs in our universe in products that are 100% natural and extremely soft and beneficial to the human body.
All products of Meri Shrushti are made out of natural ingredients…not flavours or chemical extracts. Being all-natural, these products do not have any harmful side effects at all. And all the products of Meri Shrushti are produced in small scale cottage industries duly following the law of the land’s manufacturing prescriptions and in accordance with Jain Dharma Teachings.

Coming from a very humble rural social background, Jaya Jain has travelled a long way to make her dreams a reality. And like in any success story, she had her share of challenges too… Being a 24×7 homemaker, she had no knowledge of production, packaging, financial budgeting, government regulations or market dynamics. Step by step, over a period of 12 dedicated years, she learnt it all… with specific and important insights on product quality, level of purity, natural processing for long term storage, intensity vs volume dynamics, product pricing, market analysis, brand building, etc. And today, Jaya Jain is well set to pass on her knowledge and expertise to empower other women from India and abroad… achieve the same feat for themselves.
